LMA Architects are proposing a complete transformation of this harbourside property in Poole, Dorset. The existing house was built in the early 2000’s and has been subject to numerous alterations over the years. The extensive alterations harmonise the appearance of the house and create a more usable floor layout, suitable for the young family.

The rear of the house has been designed to emulate the appearance of the rear terraces of a Sunseeker Yacht. New balconies are proposed which span the entire width of the property and are linked via a feature external staircase. Views of Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island are maximised through new glazing with slim profiles, which maximise natural light into house and provide breathtaking views.

The garden has been enhanced with coastal planting, sunken bar, swimming pool and integrated seating. The external appearance of the house is modernised by introducing white render, timber cladding and powder coated aluminium to simplify the material palette and create a fresh modern home.
